This is the most attractive building/highschool I have ever seen! Such attention to placement to achieve a comfortable and panoramic view of the area is very dynamic. What a privilege it would be to attend this school as a primer to further college advancement. I sincerely hope the students and staff of this school appreciate what planning has gone into this project. J.Tipps - Albuquerque
The rapidly expanding development of west Albuquerque with its attendant population growth prompted the Board of Education and the Albuquerque Public Schools to commission the design and construction of two separate high schools. Both will relieve and supplement the over-crowded institutions presently serving the area. One is located on the northwest quadrant of the city, and the other on the southwest quadrant. This informational web-site is devoted to the future Southwest HS.
